Recent report revealed that in the second quarter of 2011, developers more inclined to vote iOS than Android. According to the data that released by Flurry, today the developers tend to create applications for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, rather than develope application for Android which has been dropped dramatically.
There are two reasons for the decline in of interest in develope aplications for Android, the first is launch of iPhone 4, while the second reason is launch of iPad 2. The research revealed that in the second quarter of 2011, 57 percent of projects created new applications for iPhone, increase 54 percent in the first quarter of 2011. The data in the research also shows that in the second quarter of 2011, 15 percent of project created new applications for iPad, increase 10 percent from first quarter in 2011.
While for Android, instead suffered setback. Because for the second quarter of 2011, only 28 percent of new application projects created for Android, decline from the previous figure that still around 36 percent in the first quarter of 2011.
