Research in Motion (RIM) reported that they plans to apply various Android applications into their BlackBerry devices. This strategy have a purpose to boost up the sales of BlackBerry smartphones which decrease inNorth America. Its also because Android has 6 times total amount of applications than BlackBerry applications. According several sources reported that this Canadian company will begin to use Android applications in early 2012. With very tight competition in mobile phones market on 2011 which controlled by Apple and Android, BlackBerry seems to destruction and instead are falling further behind than their rivals. These vendors need a bold step and a big leap. Perhaps this is what they meant as a big step by RIM. According to some sources, Research in Motion is considering a move where they belong QNX OS will be able to run Android applications. Market analyst at Raymond James Ltd, Steven Lee said,“ able to run Android apps is a great value for RIM. If RIM gets thousands of Android applications, then concern related lack of application on App world will be perish.
